HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE BEST SISTER EVER!  I LOVE YOU JESSIE

This will be the year!

This will be the year right?! Right?!  I don't think I have ever made a new years resolution but I decided this year I would be like the millions other and decide this would be the year I lost the Sophia weight (and maybe some).  I've decided to start on Monday.  To celebrate I will be eating another piece of home made turtle cheesecake for breakfast.  I am thinking Monday I will also start the two week Special K challenge.  Kind of a boost in getting healthy, because this year is the year!

this week

I must admit I have missed these two monkeys!  They have been at my moms house all week.  I have missed the goodmorning mommy where are we going today?  I have missed buzz lightyear and spongebob, and mac and cheese.  I have not missed a million and five questions before 8 in the morning and crying.  Now I sit here until Trent gets off work (whenever that may be) so we can go back to mommas to be with them again.  I'm sure by Saturday I will be wanting another break!

Happy Birthday Joseph Smith!!!!!!

Dairy Queen

Sissy is now in a booster seat.  Now don't freak out because she's not three yet.  She is 33lbs and when I talk to her dr about her not keeping her chest buckled she said it was safer to have a seat belt across her chest then nothing at all.  The day after we got her car seat I was stopped by the police for a seat belt check!  He said that you can get a ticket if your child has their chest unbuckled!  I learn something new every day.

For Brooklyn's actual birthday Momma and Daddy took us to Dairy Queen.  It's always a treat for us since we don't have one.  I think Daddy came out looking the most sane of us all.  We had a good time.  Thanks Momma and Daddy

Brooklyns party

Monday Brooklyn turned a big 4 years old.  Its hard to believe she has been with us this long.  We love her so much.  Shes funny and kind.  She loves her baby sister and helps sis out all she can.  She loves going to her dance class and practicing during the week.  She loves to sing songs and say her prayer all by herself.  She wanted a Tinker Bell party.  She had cupcakes and yummy peanut butter chocolate chip cookies (I learned about them from Jessie's blog, Thanks!)  Her and her friends played outside and had a great time.
She has already decided what her theme is next year and how she wants her cake to look!

On a different note I got a bread maker!  It was only like 20 bucks and it's brand new.  I really enjoyed waking up to the scent of fresh baked bread Wednesday!  I can't wait to try some different kinds of bread!

the girls furniture

We have inherited grannys extra room bed room set.  It's the prettiest green and light wood.  I love how it looks in the girls bed room.  They love it too, and I now have a place to hide their toys!

the pumpkin patch

Today we went to Mrs. Heathers pumpkin patch in Hammond.  It was me, Rachel, Aslynn, and Suzette.  I was there maybe two hours and took 201 pictures between me and Rachel.  We kept passing the camera.  The girls loved it!  They got to play and pet farm animals and pick out their own pumpkin.  Now I am thinking I need to look up how to make fresh pumpkin bread or something.  I don't want them to go to waist.  Maybe I can try roasting the pumpkin seeds.  We will see what I have time for.  This weekend is packed again.  I am teaching some ladies at AMBROSIA on Wednesday.  I know I need to get ready and get off line.  I certainly dont want to make a fool of myself.  Maybe I could go work there part time when the kids start school.

sigh

This past Thursday Trent;s Granny passed away.  It has been a long time coming.  In June (I think) she had fallen and has been going down hill steadily ever since then.  The funeral was yesterday (trent's birthday)  It was a sad day but fun too.  After the funeral we went over to Mrs. Murl's house.  We had some yummy food and I got to hang out with Trent's cusins wives.  They were hilarious!  After everyone left I went and found the perfect tinkerbell wings and a princess crown to finish off Halloween costumes.  Since we weren't able to celebrate Trent's birthday yesterday we are going to go out to eat tonight as a family.  I'm not sure where yet but hopefully somewhere yummy!

the last few weeks

they lined up in size order all by themsleves

that is concrete tiger poop!  no joke rachel and i saw it and at the same time reached for our cameras.  then we died laughing because what a random thing to take a picture of.  Great minds think alike!

you are not supposed to feed the animals, but we do anyways!

If you look closely you'll notice there is a walmart bag hanging out of her drivers side door.  There was a bee in it!  Rachel rode like that till she saw a trash can.  I had to snap a picture!

Trent's birthday cake for his work cook off
Trent even helped cook!

The "Three Crackers Cooking"  (Trent picked the name)

This picture was taken forever ago.  We were at CEC and sissy just laid down and fell asleep!

She wouldn't be still but she was enjoying her ice cream!
